How our AI Teams work
Every manager has a style. Some trust the big names, some hunt for value and some like to be different. AI Teams shows four full squads for this gameweek, each built around a different way of playing the game.
What the four squads are
Each squad follows its own idea of how to win at Fantasy Premier League, from leaning on the most trusted and popular players to chasing value or picks that few managers own. Every team follows the game's rules on budget, squad size and players per club, so any of them could be entered for real. Alongside this week's teams, the season tracker follows four squads that started in Gameweek 2 and have made transfers and played chips ever since. That lets you see how each style holds up over months rather than one weekend.
How to get the most from them
- Do not copy a whole team. Look for players who appear in more than one squad. When different approaches land on the same name, that player usually deserves a place.
- Find the squad closest to your own style. Put it next to your current team. The gaps between them make a ready made transfer shortlist.
- Use the season tracker as a reality check. If a style keeps falling behind, think twice before building your own team that way.
- Look at each captain. It is the single choice that moves a score the most, and the four teams do not always agree.
What AI means here
The squads are put together by software that reads player prices, fixtures, minutes and expected points, then picks the strongest mix within each style's limits. It does not watch the games, so it cannot see a manager losing patience with a player or a winger who looks off the pace. That part is still yours. We think of AI Teams as a second opinion from a sharp friend, not an order to follow.
