How to track your mini leagues
Overall rank is nice, but bragging rights in the office or family league are what most of us really play for. The Mini League Tracker keeps an eye on your classic leagues and shows who is close, who is climbing and what your rivals are doing.
What the tracker shows
Add any classic league your linked team is in by pasting its league ID. For each league you see your rank, this week's points, your total, the gap to the leader and how your position has moved. Standings near you focuses on the teams just above and below you. Rivals to watch picks out the managers most likely to affect your finish, big movers shows the week's climbers and fallers, and rival transfers shows who your rivals brought in and sold. Switch on email alerts and the key changes come to you.
How to use it to win your league
- Know the gap. If you are far behind the leader, you need players they do not own. If you are close or ahead, you can afford to match their big picks.
- Study rival transfers. If the manager above you has just bought a player you own, that player's points no longer help you pass him.
- Choose differentials with care. One or two low owned players are enough. A whole team of them is a gamble.
- Watch chip timing. If a rival has already played his Bench Boost and you still have yours, one good week can close the gap fast.
Finding your league ID
Open your league on the official FPL site and look at the web address. The number that comes after the word leagues is the league ID.
